Air Filter Systems was started in 1986 with the intent of becoming the undisputed leader in the application of air cleaning technology in the State of Arkansas. We determined early on that our company would be established upon a commitment to the three “legs” of Quality, Knowledge, and Service. We learned that meeting…and exceeding…our customers’ expectations through the proper application of the highest quality products, at reasonable prices and with on-time delivery would be the keys to our success. Over the years, we have forged strong bonds with our customers and partners through mutual respect and exceeding their expectations.
Our first home office location was at the rural resort town of Greers Ferry, Arkansas. Our early efforts were primarily directed at serving the needs of hospitals and healthcare facilities around the state and providing consulting engineering companies with expert air cleaning application advice. Within a year we had relocated to Conway, Arkansas, to be nearer the larger markets of Central Arkansas and to have greater access to the Interstate Highway System – an important consideration as we began to aggressively ramp up our distribution activities.
We reached another milestone in our history in 1990 by establishing our first branch office / warehouse location in Fort Smith to better serve our customer base in Western Arkansas.
Our company grew at a brisk rate through the 1990’s as the businesses and institutions of Arkansas evolved with emerging technologies and our company’s accomplishments brought a great deal of recognition from the various manufacturers whose products we distribute. During this time the range and diversity of the products and services we offer expanded steadily.
We relocated our home office in 2003 to our current location in North Little Rock and in 2005 established our second branch office in Shreveport, Louisiana, to expand our reach as far as Central Louisiana.
Over the years we have solidified our position in our markets as the foremost source of air cleaning solutions in the region. As we continue our growth into the 21st Century, we do so with recognition of and appreciation for our most important assets – our dedicated employees!
